(St. George, UT)  –  A man is behind bars in Saint George for allegedly assaulting a police officer during his arrest.  Hotel employees suspected Lyric Lyons was breaking into cars in the parking lot of the Holiday Inn Express early Tuesday.  When police arrived and tried to question him, they say Lyons refused and then kicked the officer when they tried to detain him.  Lyons is behind bars on multiple charges, including burglary of a vehicle and assault against an officer, according to “Saint George News.”
