Funeral services for M. Russell Ballard, Acting President of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, have been announced. In a news release on Nov. 14, the church announced the service will be held in the Tabernacle on Temple Square on Friday, Nov. 17, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The funeral will be open to the public ages 8 and older, with Tabernacle doors opening at 9:30 a.m. The services will also be streamed live on the church’s broadcast page and YouTube channel as well as BYUtv. Pres. Ballard passed away at his home on Nov. 12 at the age of 95.
