(Salt Lake City, UT) — The president of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is asking people around the world to celebrate Christmas by serving others. The Church released a Christmas message from President Russell M. Nelson yesterday as part of its Light the World campaign. Nelson spoke about the birth of Jesus Christ and said others should reflect his light by being peacemakers willing to reason with others. He expressed his gratitude to those willing to serve others and encouraged people to make the world better through their service.
