Iron County District Passes 4-Day School Week

(Cedar City, UT) — Starting next year, the school week in Iron County will be four days long. On Tuesday night, the Iron County School District approved a plan that starts in 12 months, but can be delayed for another 12 months if the district thinks it needs more time. Two months ago, the district got a waiver from the State Board of Education so they could carry out this change. They’ll join a handful of districts across America that have four-day school weeks.
