Hurricane Man Gets Probation For White House Threats

(St. George, UT) — A Hurricane man who threatened on Instagram to blow up the White House will not serve any time in jail. David Grant Torrey will instead serve 36 months of probation. In early January, Torrey left threatening comments on the White House Instagram page, saying he would detonate a bomb strapped to his chest inside the building. Torrey also made additional threats towards now-former President Barack Obama and the President’s family.
