Hiker Falls 100 Feet And Gets Wedged In Rocks

(Cedar City, UT) — We’re hearing more details about a hiker who fell 100 feet in Iron County and ended up wedged between a rock and a cliff face. It happened last week when the woman and some friends were going for a hike to watch the sunrise at Red Hollow Trailhead. Rescue crews found she had fractures to her arms, legs and ribs. The woman was stabilized and carried down to Highway 14, where a helicopter took her to a St. George hospital. Her current condition is not known.
