A high speed chase involving the Utah Highway Patrol came to an end in the parking lot of Wendy’s on the South end of Richfield.

Around 8:30 a.m. on Jan. 8th a UHP officer pulled over a vehicle for a seatbelt violation. The suspect was cooperating at first but when a second UHP vehicle showed up the suspect decided to flee.

UHP chased the vehicle for about three miles before the suspect pulled into the parking lot of Wendy’s and gave up on their escape.

According to UHP Sgt. Clay Morgan the suspect is wanted in multiple states on multiple charges and is a suspect in multiple bank robberies.
