(Salt Lake City, UT) — The U.S. Health Secretary will be in Utah today to talk about the state’s new fluoride ban. Robert F. Kennedy is scheduled to speak with reporters in Salt Lake City to talk about Utah’s ban on fluoride in drinking water, SNAP benefits, and another bill concerning dyes in school food. Several state lawmakers are scheduled to join Kennedy for the news conference, including House Speaker Mike Schultz and Majority Whip Karianne Lisonbee. Utah became the first state to ban fluoride in drinking water after Governor Spencer Cox signed the bill last month. It is expected to go into effect in May.
