(Salt Lake City, UT)  –  Members of the homeless community are criticizing Salt Lake County health officials for another sweep of the Rio Grande area using heavy equipment.  County Health Department crews went through the homeless encampment yesterday, sweeping up trash, human waste and other potential health risks.  Homeless people who had their belongings taken away in the sweep say they didn’t get enough notice from the health department.  County officials plan to do the cleaning sweeps twice a month.
