(Heber City, UT) — The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is breaking ground on its first temple in Wasatch County. Church President Russell M. Nelson joined other officials in Heber City for Saturday’s groundbreaking ceremony. A completion date for the temple has not been announced, and officials say the Church has yet to submit plans for the building to the county for approval. The temple was announced last year and will be the 28th temple built in Utah.
