(Salt Lake City, UT) – Governor Spencer Cox spent some time in a middle school classroom yesterday. Cox says he is taught three periods of eighth grade history, serving as a substitute teacher. This comes after the governor eased restrictions for substitute teachers statewide due to an ongoing staff shortage. Any government worker can apply to help out schools who need it. First Lady Abby Cox also helped out yesterday by covering special education classes.
