Gov. Cox Elected To Help Lead National Governors Association

(Salt Lake City, UT) — Governor Spencer Cox will have a central role in helping states work with the federal government going forward. The National Governors Association announced Cox will serve as the NGA vice chair, with New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy serving as the chairman. The association is a bipartisan group that works on state issues surrounding health care, economic recovery, infrastructure and education, Cox and Murphy will assume their roles during the NGA’s summer meeting and will serve for one year.
