Gov. Cox Denounces Voting Misinformation During Summit In Washington, D.C.

(Washington, DC) – Governor Spencer Cox defended Utah’s vote-by-mail system this morning during a summit held in Washington, D.C. Speaking at “The Fifty: America’s Governors,” Cox said it’s a “false choice” for states to choose between making it easier for Americans to vote and having a secure elections system. Cox explained that Utah’s system is proof that states can do both, and detailed checks and balances in the Beehive State. The governor also lambasted those spreading misinformation about election security.
