(Parowan, UT) — Flood repairs are expected to be underway on a portion of State Route 143 in southern Utah. Crews with the Utah Department of Transportation were scheduled to begin work yesterday along an eight mile stretch of the road in Parowan Canyon. The effort aims to improve drainage on the road and fix the damage caused by flooding last year. Work is scheduled to last during daytime hours through Thursday.
