Eagle Point Resort Will Be Closed For Winter Season

(Beaver, UT) — It’s not a surprise, but it is a sad result of the Cottonwood Fire: Eagle Point Resort will not be open for the coming ski season. The Beaver County resort was devastated by the flames in June. The floods last month made things worse, and the clean up is just getting started. Four of the resort’s five chairlifts were damaged and new parts will take months to arrive from overseas. The fire also destroyed the Canyonside Lodge and 145 homes and condos.
