(Provo, UT) — Defense lawyers for Tyler Robinson are trying to get all of the prosecutors from Utah County moved off the case. Robinson, who’s accused of murdering Charlie Kirk, continues to be held without bail. His lawyers want the entire Utah County Attorney’s Office off the case because a family member of one prosecutor witnessed the shooting. That family member was texting the employee of the prosecutor’s office while the shooting unfolded. The prosecutor later turned that evidence over to the defense team. Defense lawyers are likely to file more motions as the case moves forward.
