(Salt Lake City, UT) — The 2024 election season is kicking into full gear with debates on the horizon. The Utah Debate Commission announced its slate of statewide and congressional debates for Utah candidates yesterday. The series of debates will start with gubernatorial candidates at Salt Lake Community College on September 23rd and will conclude with a debate for Utah’s 4th Congressional District at the University of Utah on October 24th. Candidates must earn at least ten percent support in polls conducted by the commission in order to participate. The general election is November 5th.
