(Mexico City) — Governor Spencer Cox says his latest trade mission to Mexico City has been fruitful. The governor is visiting the Mexican capital this week for the second time in two years. He says his trip is meant to strengthen Utah’s cultural and economic ties with our neighbors to the south. Cox met with Samuel García, governor of the border state of Nuevo León, to discuss their states’ shared interests and challenges. Trade with Mexico supports 51-thousand jobs in Utah and was worth five-point-six-billion dollars last year.
