(Salt Lake City, UT) — Governor Spencer Cox is ordering U.S. and Utah flags to be lowered to half-staff in memory of three children and three adults who were killed in a mass shooting yesterday morning at private Christian school in Nashville, Tennessee. Nashville Police say the shooter was a 28-year-old female who had attended the school. She was killed in a shootout with police. Cox’s order calls for flags at public buildings to fly at half-staff until sundown on Friday, and he’s encouraging private citizens and local businesses to lower their flags as well.
