(Salt Lake City, UT) — Governor Spencer Cox is a definite “no” on medical “magic mushrooms.” Cox told reporters on Thursday he does not support a bill before the Legislature that would narrowly legalize so-called magic mushrooms for medicinal use in the same way the state currently regulates medical marijuana. Cox said he’d rather “wait for the FDA” to weigh in on mushrooms before supporting legalization.
