This summer you can expect a delay between Manti and Gunnison due to road construction. The project began this week and is expected to last through most of the summer.

The construction will take place from the south point of Manti to the north end of Gunnison. Some areas are expected to restrict traffic to just one lane.

Milling old pavement, upgrading barriers, and shoulder work will make up a good chunk of the work. More than 50,000 tons of asphalt will be used across the entire project. Sterling is expected to be the most impacted spot during the construction.
