(Cedar City, UT) — A southern Utah man is heading to prison for the murder of his mother. Joshua Glover was sentenced to 15 years to life in prison this week for the 2020 murder of 73-year-old Kay Gosewisch, whose body was found months later underneath a structure of their Cedar City home. The judge told Glover the facts of the case are “heartbreaking” and he planned to recommend the 36-year-old never be released from prison. Glover had been withdrawing money from the victim’s bank account after the crime was committed. The judge also said “you took the life of the woman who gave you yours” and tried to financially gain from the crime.
