(Spanish Fork, UT) – Spanish Fork police say no one was hurt when a car clipped a small plane while drag racing at a local airport. Investigators say two men decided to race their sports cars while attending a party at a hangar on the grounds of the Spanish Fork-Springville Airport Friday night. One man came too close to the plane and clipped its wheel, damaging the plane but leaving the teen pilot uninjured. The two drag racers will face reckless driving charges, while the man who held the party could lose the use of the hangar.Â
