Cade Douglas has been named Utah’s Superintendent of the Year for 2024. He is starting his 12th year as Superintendent of the Sevier School District where he has spent his entire career and is an alumnus of its schools. This award recognizes outstanding leadership and pays tribute to leaders of Utah’s public school districts. Over the past year Douglas has served as president of Utah School Superintendents Association working with the state legislature on education and student mental health issues. Lexi Cunningham, executive director of USSA shared, “congratulations to Superintendent Douglas, an outstanding leader in public education who has made an immense impact on the learning communities of Sevier School District and the entire state.”
