(St. George, UT) — A Brigham Young University football player is facing a first-degree felony rape charge in Washington County. Prosecutors say 21-year-old Parker Kingston was charged Tuesday following an investigation that began last February when a 20-year-old woman reported a sexual assault in St. George. Detectives gathered digital and forensic evidence before submitting the case for review. Kingston is being held without bail and is scheduled to appear in court Friday. BYU says it takes the allegation seriously and will cooperate with law enforcement.
