(Beaver, UT) — A Beaver man is heading to prison for assaulting a U.S. Forest Service worker two years ago. Kristopher Boger was sentenced to nearly a year in jail after he was found guilty of hitting and choking the worker in 2023 following a meeting over a road on federal forest land. Boger was accused of hitting the worker with a hard hat, then choking him and threatening to kill him. After a contractor intervened in the fight, Boger pulled out a handgun, leading to the victims leaving the scene. An attorney in the case said nobody should fear for their lives while ensuring road safety for all Utahns.
