Affordability Top Voter Concern As Utah Legislature Returns

(Salt Lake City, UT) — Affordability is the top issue among voters as the Utah State Legislature starts a new session today. A poll by the Deseret News and the Hinckley Institute of Politics shows housing affordability is the dominant issue across party lines. Health care and water are also important issues to voters, but they’re far behind housing. The threat of a recession, homelessness and public education polled in the single digits. Voters who took part in the poll were only asked to name their number one issue.
