2nd Congressional District Recount Delayed

(St. George, UT) — The results of Utah’s 2nd Congressional Primary Election recount are expected to be released today. Colby Jenkins requested a recount against Republican incumbent Celeste Maloy when he trailed by an amount of votes within the threshold that allows him to do so. The results were expected to come out last week, but multiple counties, including Washington County, reported having “error messages” when trying to tabulate the final numbers. The county clerk decided to audit the ballots in question and planned to have the final results today.
