LOGAN, Utah-Thursday, Utah State men’s basketball head coach Ryan Odom officially announced the addition of Bryce Crawford to his staff with the Aggies.
Odom and Crawford have previously worked together at Maryland-Baltimore County and NCAA Division II Leonir-Rhyne of Hickory, N.C.
Crawford spent the past five seasons on Odom’s staff at UMBC. Crawford assisted Odom in helping the Retrievers upset No 1 seed Virginia as the No. 16 seed in the 2018 NCAA Tournament. This was a historic upset as a No. 16 seed had never before defeated a No. 1 seed.
While serving under Odom at Lenoir-Rhyne, Crawford helped lead the Bears to the NCAA Division II Regional Finals for the first time in school history.
Crawford is a 2011 Ohio State graduate, earning his degree in communication analyst. He also served as the Buckeyes’ men’s basketball squad’s student manager for four years.
