OGDEN, Utah-Thursday, Weber State men’s basketball added a pair of transfers as confirmed by head coach Randy Rahe.
The Wildcats added senior guard Koby McEwen and senior forward Jamison Overton.
McEwen, who once starred at Wasatch Academy has played collegiately for Utah State and Marquette.
The 6-4 McEwen posted 10.2 points and 3.6 rebounds per game last season for Marquette.
Rahe lauded McEwen as a “strong, powerful and athletic guard” who can “score the ball at all three levels.”
The 6-6 Overton transfers to Weber State from Utah Valley. Overton posted 15.6 points and 4.2 boards per contest for the Wolverines last season.
Rahe called Overton “a highly athletic player with a good skill level and a feel for the game.”
