EPHRAIM, Utah-Snow College freshman volleyball standout Macy Short has been named as SWAC offensive player of the week.

Short, a native of Middleton, Idaho, helped the 17-2 (5-1 in SWAC play) Badgers go 3-0 last week. Snow defeated Western Wyoming, Colorado Northwestern and No. 4 USU-Eastern Utah.

This past week, Short netted 103 assists over 11 sets, averaging 9.3 assists per set.

Short assisted the Badgers in posting a .300 attack percentage over the course of three matches. This included a .543 clip against Colorado Northwestern.

The 6-foot Short leads the SWAC with an average 9.24 sets per set.

Snow faces Southern Nevada March 18 and 19 for a two-game set at Ephraim in their next action.
