Just before 2:00 p.m. on Mar. 9, authorities responded to an ATV crash that occurred in the mountains west of Richfield, about 2.5 miles into the Dairy Canyon trail.

67 year old Kenneth Lone from Sevier County rolled his ATV over and initial reports were that he had suffered head injuries. Fortunately the extent of injuries was limited to a shoulder injury.

Search and rescue and EMT’s were able to package and transport Lone to an awaiting ambulance and then to the hospital.
