LOGAN, Utah-Tuesday, Utah State football ensued in its additions to new head coach Blake Anderson’s staff by adding Kyle Cefalo as the passing game coordinator/wide receivers coach.
Cefalo has joined Anderson at Utah State from Arkansas State as he served for four years with the Red Wolves as the program’s receivers coach.
Cefalo played an instrumental role in leading the Red Wolves to three consecutive bowl games.
While a receiver at Colorado, Cefalo posted 16 receptions for 120 yards and two scores for the Buffaloes over the course of the 2010 and 2011 seasons.
Cefalo graduated from the University of Colorado-Boulder with a degree in history in 2012 and was also named to the Athletic Director’s Honors Roll.
Cefalo commenced his coaching career as a recruiting intern at Boise State in 2013.
He then went to Arkansas State for the first time as a graduate assistant from 2013-2015 and became a graduate assistant at Maryland in 2016.
He then returned to Arkansas State from 2017-20, serving as the inside receivers coach in 2017-2018 and as the special teams coordinator/wide receivers coach in 2019-20.
Additionally, Utah State added Nick Paremski as the program’s new special teams coordinator and outside linebackers coach.
Paremski spent five seasons (2016-2020) at Arkansas State, serving as the Red Wolves’ co-special teams coordinator and safeties coach. He also served as the program’s outside linebackers coach and quality control assistant.
Paremski commenced his coaching career in 2002-2003, coaching the defensive backs at Holmen (Wis.) H.S.
After leaving the Vikings, Paremski became a graduate assistant at NCAA Division II Texas A&M-Kingsville (2004-2005).
He then coached at NCAA Division II West Texas A&M from 2006-2015, serving in various capacities for the Buffaloes in that span.
He then went to Arkansas State and began his relationship with Anderson in 2016.
