UNCASVILLE, Conn.-With the men’s college basketball schedule in flux because of covid-19, the BYU men’s basketball squad received an addition to their schedule Monday as they will face the St. John’s Red Storm Wednesday at Mohegan Sun Arena of Uncasville, Conn. as part of the Roman Legends Classic.

This will be a 3:00 pm MST tip-off.

This tournament has shifted from a bracketed format to a showcase after Vanderbilt dropped out because of covid-19 concerns.

The Red Storm previously won this tournament in 2018, besting California and Virginia Commonwealth.

This will be the 9th all-time matchup between BYU and St. John’s with the Red Storm leading the all-time series 7-1.

The Cougars are 3-0 headed into Tuesday’s matchup against USC to commence their slate at this tournament.

St. John’s is 3-0 headed into this game as well as they outlasted Boston College 97-93 Monday evening.
