(Washington, DC) – Two members of Congress from Utah are asking President Trump to look into the possibility that North Korea may have kidnapped a BYU student. Senator Mike Lee and Congressman Chris Stewart sent the letter about the 2004 disappearance of David Louis Sneddon to the President yesterday. The Utah Republicans say Sneddon’s disappearance in China has “disturbing parallels” to known North Korean kidnappings in other East Asian countries. The President is meeting with South Korea’s president this week, and Sneddon’s alleged kidnapping could be among the topics discussed.Â
