ST. GEORGE, Utah-Tuesday, Dixie State University athletics confirmed game day protocols and ticket information for the upcoming 2020-21 season for the Trailblazers’ men’s basketball program at Burns Arena.
The following information is subject to change during this season.
-Seating for Dixie State men’s and women’s basketball home games will be at 25 percent capacity (capped at 1,000 total attendance).
-General admission seating for season ticket holders. Dixie State Trailblazer club members, player families and guests (and limited visiting team player families), per Western Athletic Conference rules and other game contractual agreements and students only. No single game tickets will be sold to any home game at this time.
-All university, local, state and federal CDC covid-19 protocols and recommendations will be strictly followed.
-Spectator social distancing and the wearing of masks will be enforced at all times.
-Floor access is restricted exclusively to only properly credentialed athletic personnel, game officials and official basketball team parties.
-A minimum of 12 feet around the arena floor level will be cordoned off to ensure the safety of teams, game officials and Dixie State University athletic game administrators/athletic trainers.
-Specific Burns Arena entrances and exits will be appropriately marked.
The Dixie State men’s basketball team makes its Division I debut November 28 by hosting the Weber State Wildcats.
December 1, the Trailblazers’ women’s squad makes its Division I debut by hosting BYU.
