PROVO, Utah (AP) — A judge has sentenced a former Utah Valley University employee to four months in county jail after she pleaded guilty to stealing more than $380,000 from the university to pay for travel expenses and a private theater business. The Daily Herald reported Tuesday that 43-year-old Jennifer Clegg pleaded guilty to communications fraud and attempted communications fraud in November. Clegg was also sentenced to serve 60 days on a GPS monitor, pay restitution and complete 100 hours of community service upon release. Authorities say her husband, Phil Clegg was also charged but pleaded not guilty in October. His attorney did not respond to a request for comment.
