GEORGE, Utah-Emma Jones posted 11 points on 4 of 6 shooting with Madison Roberts adding 10 more as the Richfield Wildcats bested Juab 36-23 Friday in the 3-A state semifinals at Burns Arena on the campus of Dixie State University. Hannah Robins netted 12 points and 9 rebounds in the loss for the Wasps. Richfield next plays for the 3-A state championship Saturday at 5:00 pm.
ST. GEORGE, Utah-Kacelyn Toomer posted 17 points and Megan Jensen added 12 points and 9 rebounds as the Emery Spartans bludgeoned Grantsville 56-36 in the 3-A state semifinals at Burns Arena Friday. Madison Fields had 16 points and 11 rebounds in the loss for the Cowgirls. Emery next meets Richfield Saturday at 5:00 pm for the 3-A state championship.
ST. GEORGE, Utah-Mackenzie Jones posted 13 points on 3-5 shooting as the South Sevier Rams lived to play another day, prevailing 48-39 over Carbon in the consolation bracket Friday at Burns Arena. In defeat, the Dinos were led by Kelsey Sorenson’s 15 points and 11 rebounds as well as Abbie Saccomanno’s 15 points. South Sevier next plays for fifth place Saturday at 10:00 a.m.
ST. GEORGE, Utah-Morgan Cragun posted 15 points on 6-10 shooting as the Morgan Trojans ended Judge’s season with a 45-29 vcitory over the Bulldogs at Burns Arena Friday in the consolation bracket. Victoria Garcia had 12 points on 5-7 shooting for the Bulldogs in the loss. Morgan next faces South Sevier for fifth place Saturday at 10:00 am.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Ronnie Robinson netted 12 points and 11 rebounds as the Enterprise Wolves upset Beaver 43-38 in the 2-A state semifinals at the Sevier Valley Center. Enterprise next faces Millard Saturday at 5:00 pm for the 2-A state championship. Sydnee Gillins had 15 points and 6 boards in the loss for the Beavers.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Kynlee Penney amassed 28 points as the Millard Eagles surged past Kanab 67-56 in the 2-A state semifinals at the Sevier Valley Center Friday. Brinley Cornell’s 19 points led Kanab in the loss.

ST. GEORGE, Utah-Tyson Chisholm posted 15 points and 8 rebounds and the South Sevier Rams outlasted Delta 64-58 in the 3-A state semifinals Friday at Burns Arena. Derek Smith had 15 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists in the loss for the Rabbits. South Sevier next plays in the 3-A state championship game Saturday at 7:00 pm.
ST. GEORGE, Utah-Matt Nelson posted 16 points and 8 rebounds on 6-12 shooting as the Manti Templas overpowered Grantsville 56-37 at Burns Arena Friday in the 3-A state semifinals. Manti next faces South Sevier Saturday at 7:00 pm in the 3-A state championship game. Brady Arbon had 11 points in the loss for the Cowboys.
ST. GEORGE, Utah-Kael Atkinson made a driving layup with 1.3 seconds left to lead South Summit to a 48-46 win over Juab Friday in the 2-A boys consolation bracket at Burns Arena. Justin Worthen had 13 points on 5-7 from the field to pace the Wildcats, who next play Saturday at 11:40 am in the game for 5th place. The Wasps were led by Jackson Rowley in defeat with 18 points and 9 rebounds on 7 of 10 shooting from the field.
ST. GEORGE, Utah-Cade Russell amassed 23 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists as the Morgan Trojans bested Grand 68-56 Friday in the consolation bracket at Burns Arena. Cameron Hoppensteadt had 24 points and 6 rebounds in the loss for the Red Devils. Morgan next plays South Summit Saturday at 11:40 am in the 5th place game.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Davis Heslington posted 22 points as the Beaver Beavers edged Layton Christian 57-51 in the 2-A semifinals at the Sevier Valley Center. Beaver next faces Duchesne Saturday at 7:00 pm for the 2-A state championship.
