State health officials have placed Brian Head under a boil order after E. coli was detected in the city’s water supply.

According to the city public works department, the bacteria was detected during a test Thursday night.

Workers are flushing the system and chlorinating the water as they try to find the source of the contamination.

Water should be boiled for at least one minute and cooled before it’s ingested in anyway or used in washing dishes.
