Four people are now recovering from some injuries after a two-vehicle crash Saturday Afternoon between Manti and Sterling in Sanpete County.
According to Utah Highway Patrol, one car had slowed to turn while going Southbound on State Route 89. A car coming up behind the first, went to pass and go around the first car, but instead hit the car in the driver’s side as it was turning left.
The two people in the car that tried to pass were sent to Gunnison Valley Hospital with injuries.
Two others in the car that was hit also received some minor injuries.
Charges are pending for the driver who attempted to pass. The first car did have a blinker on before the crash.
