Salt Lake City police look for suspect after teen boy shot

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Police in Salt Lake City say an argument between two teenagers at a park ended with a shooting that sent one boy to the hospital with multiple gunshot wounds.

Police say they are still searching for the shooter and the victim is expected to survive.

Officers were called out to the Rose Park neighborhood about 8 p.m. Saturday.

Police say the two boys were sitting in a parked car when they began to argue and one teen shot the other multiple times.

The victim was taken to the hospital in serious but stable condition.

His name hasn’t been released.

The suspected shooter reportedly ran from the car and police say they may know his identity.
