A Mt. Pleasant couple has pleaded guilty to selling drugs from their home while their children were present. Alejandro Manzo and his wife, Amanda Carrasco, pleaded guilty to selling methamphetamine and heroin from the travel trailer they lived in with their children on Gravel Pit Road in Mt. Pleasant. The arrest came after a months-long investigation by the Sanpete Juab Major Crimes Task Force. Both defendants were facing multiple distribution of a controlled substance charges, as well as a charge from using a food stamp card that belonged to another party.
Sentencing for the couple is scheduled for May 29.
