Non-Region

NEPHI, Utah-The Manti Templars used a 22-9 run in the 3rd Quarter to put the game out of reach as they routed Juab 71-57 Tuesday in non-region boys basktball action. Grady Thompson posted 20 points on 7-9 from the field and Kevin Clark netted 15 points on 5-6 from the field, including 3-4 from range off the bench for the Templars, who improved to 3-1. Kollin Robertson had 13 points and 7 rebounds in the loss for the Wasps.

KANAB, Utah-Nathaniel Houston netted 18 points and 6 rebounds as the Kanab Cowboys bested Piute 58-48 in non-region boys basketball action Tuesday. Kelby Jessen had 15 points for the Thunderbirds in the loss.

Region 19

BICKNELL, Utah-Dawson Anderson posted 15 points and the Green River Pirates edged Wayne 63-60 in Region 19 boys basketball action Tuesday. Wyatt Van Orden had a game-high 21 points in the loss for the Badgers.

Girls Basketball 

Non-Region

NEPHI, Utah-Megan Robins led the way with 8 points and the Juab Wasps humbled North Sanpete 29-24 Tuesday in non-region girls basketball action. Linzy Flinders led the Hawks with 10 points in the loss.

MANTI, Utah-Addison Taylor’s 15 points led the  Payson Lions in a 43-32 win over Manti Tuesday in non-region girls basketball action. Allie Bridges led the Templars in defeat with 9 points.

BEAVER, Utah-Brittlyn Carter stepped up with 15 points and the Beaver Beavers outlasted South Sevier 57-56 in overtime in non-region girls basketball action Tuesday. Kaylie Jenson’s 17 points and 7 rebounds led the Rams in the loss.

FILLMORE, Utah-Megan Wade amassed 19 points and the Millard Eagles routed South Summit 54-32 Tuesday in non-region girls basketball action. Reagan Sanderson had 9 points in the loss for the Wildcats.
