3A Baseball State @ Lindqust Field

Bracket 1

OGDEN, Utah-Cade Frandsen drove in three runs and the No. 1 Union Cougars pummeled No. 9 Providence Hall 14-0 in 3A bracket play Monday at Lindquist Field. Dylan Watahomigie netted three strikes in four innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Cougars. Union next faces No. 5 Canyon View Tuesday at 7:00 pm in bracket play. The Patriots will next face No. 4 Manti Tuesday at 1:30 pm in the one-loss bracket.

OGDEN, Utah-Owen Williams drove in a run and the No. 5 Canyon View Falcons upset No. 4 Manti 1-0 Monday in 3A bracket play at Lindquist Field. Zach Maine recorded 11 strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Falcons.

OGDEN, Utah-Payton Cummings homered and the No. 2 Grantsville Cowboys lassoed No. 10 Emery 11-1 Monday at Lindquist Field in 3A bracket play. Garrett Conover drove in a run in the loss for the Spartans. Grantsville next faces No. 11 Carbon Tuesday at 4:30 pm in bracket play at Lindquist Field. Emery next faces on. 14 Logan in the one-loss bracket Tuesday at 11:00 am at Lindquist Field.

OGDEN, Utah-Logan Bennett homered and the No. 11 Carbon Dinos routed No. 14 Logan 13-3 in 3A bracket play at Lindquist Field Monday. Grayden Olsen drove in a run in the loss for the Grizzlies.

Boys Soccer

3A State Championship @ Zions Bank Stadium

HERRIMAN, Utah-Jace Rodriguez scored the sole goal and No. 1 Ogden blanked No. 3 Morgan in the 3A state championship match at Zions Bank Stadium Monday. Xavier Peregrina recorded the shutout in the net for the Tigers. This was Ogden’s sixth all-time state title in boys soccer. Ogden has state titles in boys soccer in 2000, 2002, 2005, 2024 2025 and 2026.

2A State Championship @ Zions Bank Stadium

HERRIMAN, Utah-Kale Garner, Noah Johnson and Tyler Reedy each scored and the No. 1 Maeser Prep Lions blanked No. 3 Rowland Hall 3-0 Monday in the 2A state championship match at Zions Bank Stadium. Mahonri Alcazar recorded the shutout in the net for the Lions. This is Maeser Prep’s second all-time state championship in boys soccer. The Lions have state championships in boys soccer in 2025 and 2026.
