(Zion National Park, UT) — Officials have identified the hiker who died after falling from Angel’s Landing in Zion National Park. Authorities say 68-year-old Gilberto Ramos of Laredo, Texas fell from the trail on April 17th. The trail was temporarily closed during recovery efforts, and Angel’s Landing will remain closed through April 23rd for scheduled maintenance. The West Rim Trail has since reopened.
