BYU Students, Staff Speak Out Against ICE

(Provo, UT) — Students, staff and alumni from Brigham Young University are speaking out about the inclusion of U.S. Customs and Border Protection at the university’s Career Fair that took place yesterday. In a formal statement, they say they’re concerns aren’t political, but rather motivated by the current domestic operations of the agencies, which they say are counter to BYU’s “spiritual and ethical standards.” Two protests were also scheduled on campus yesterday.
