(Springdale, UT) — Zion National Park is announcing a new restriction for the upcoming summer season. Extra large vehicles will no longer be allowed on the park’s historic drive. Park officials say engineers studied the traffic problems and determined that vehicles like big RVs should stay off that road. They believe it will reduce accidents and damage to bridges. Oversized vehicles also have a tough time navigating narrow roads and tunnels. Officials also believe the new restrictions will improve traffic in the park.
