(Provo, UT) — The man accused of assassinating conservative activist Charlie Kirk in Utah was in court yesterday. Tyler Robinson appeared at a virtual hearing in Provo where the defense asked for a preliminary hearing. That’s where a judge will decide whether there is enough evidence against him to move ahead with a trial. The prosecution has already said it will seek the death penalty against the 22-year-old. The next hearing in the case was set for October 30th, where Robinson is expected to appear in-person.
