CEDAR CITY, Utah-With the Southern Utah University men’s basketball team having a new court installed at the America First Event Center, the program is searching for a new wave of student managers for the upcoming 2018-19 academic year.

Any full-time SUU student is eligible to apply. Those interested in a student manager position must be available for both practices and games.

Practices typically occur between 12:00-3:00 pm during the first semester and 3:00-6:00 pm during the second semester.

Students accepted as managers will have the opportunity to work with the Thunderbirds as they strive to win a Big Sky Conference championship.

Managers will receive hands-on experience in collegiate athletes as they work with players, coaches, support staff and administration.

This position also offers real-world experience for any student interested in pursuing a career in sports administration, coaching or a related field.

Managers will receive priority registration for classes, authentic team Adidas gear and a chance to expand their network within college basketball as well as athletics.
