(Cedar City, UT) — A property manager in Cedar City, was arrested Wednesday on charges of embezzling over one-point-nine million dollars from a client. Thirty-five-year-old Blake Floyd Cozzens faces ten felony counts of unlawful fiduciary dealing. Authorities launched an investigation after the client’s attorney flagged suspicious bank activity. Investigators found multiple unauthorized transactions, including checks, wire transfers, and in-person withdrawals, from two accounts where Cozzens was the sole signer. Cozzens is being held without bail pending a pretrial hearing.
